Qualifications
- 
Strong background as a Tax Manager
 
- 
Minimum 2+ years managing a team
 
- 
Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Experience with Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS, Accounting CS, QuickBooks Online, and Gusto a plus
 
- 
Strong written and verbal communication skills
 
- 
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines accurately
 
- 
Quick learner with ability to apply new processes to engagements
 
- 
Team player who contributes actively to the organization
 
- 
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university (minimum of 150 credits required)

Master’s in Accounting or Taxation preferred

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) license required
 
Responsibilities
- 
Prepare and review federal and state corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns
 
- 
Research tax issues and legislation; interpret tax code
 
- 
Project future tax liabilities and provide client recommendations as part of tax planning
 
- 
Communicate with clients regarding tax return information, deadlines, and status updates
 
- 
Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients
 
- 
Stay current on professional announcements and participate in professional development
 
- 
Build and maintain relationships with client management teams
 
- 
Provide training to colleagues in technical tax or accounting areas
 
- 
Contribute insights and thought leadership to corporate publications
 
-
